Doug Patterson is an architect and designer whose commissions take him around the world. He is also an artist, and during research trips for a mughal-inspired estate in the West Indies has compiled an extensive sketchbook of the people and buildings of Egypt, Russia and India. The sub-continent is a particular inspiration for Patterson's work and he is a frequent visitor at the invitation of the Indian government.
