Alex Uxbridge's paintings are mainly concerned with memories - yesterday's smoke-filled pub, last summer's Italian lakeside, a 1950's childhood in Anglesey. Intensified by the process of memory, his paintings recreate a child's world juxtaposed with the atmospheric grandeur of the settings.
