In That Summer of Sweet 16 archiveFormerly called The House. The play aims to locate and explore the lost feelings, thought patterns and opinions of a generation of people. We are in a stately home in 1916, converted into a hospital for soldiers injured in the Great War. We are surrounded by the casualties of bloody conflict, and those men and women whose job it is to put them back together, or to make their suffering easier, or just to be company. What did they think, these people who know our great-grandparents?
