Dance Double Bill is programmed in partnership with York Dance Space and York Theatre Royal showcasing two professional dance works from local and national dance artists. Plastic Soul Created and performed by Seke Chimutengwende. A cross between a music gig, a dance performance and a documentary, Plastic Soul tells the story of the rise and fall of a mythical performer, whose image and identity are constantly morphing. Ensemble Improvisation Directed by Lewys Holt - A cast of dancers will choreograph and perform this dance piece at the same time. Playing off each other, playing with each other, agreeing, disagreeing... it's all going to have to be part of it. 30 minutes in the moment, moment to moment. At the moment there will be movement, speaking, swinging, stories, thrusting, shaping, declaring, singing, running... but who knows what will go in in the moment.
