1925 tragi-comedy set in a post-revolutionary Russia of vice, opium dens and corruption. On the fifthe floor of a once exclusive Moscow apartment building, Madame Zoyka plans to flee Russia and join the aristocratic exiles in Paris. First, visas must be bought, officials must be bribed, in short, money must be made by any means necessary!
