A three part series examining different aspects of Noel Coward's fascinating life and career. This episode follows Coward after World War Two, at a time when his popularity as a playwright was dwindling and he forged a sensational new career with cabaret in London and Las Vegas. Further success was to come with the musical Sail Away, as recalled by the Broadway diva Elaine Stritch. The programme follows events up to Coward's knighthood at the age of 70, and his retirement and sudden death in his beloved Jamaica.
