Details
Workers' Union is a symphonic movement for a loud sounding group of instruments. The composer states that the work will only succeed when every player plays with such an intention that his part is an essential one. Non-professional instrumentalists and singers will explore this energetic work by Louis Andriessen during a day of music making culminating in a performance at the Almeida Theatre. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a marching song by Louis Andriessen, originally written for a pro-busking demonstration in Amsterdam.
