Information for A Matter of Life and Death at Old Red Lion, Inner London (Play). Simon wants to talk about his girlfriend. Paul wants to play chess. Simon wants to go away for his birthday. Paul knows that he can't. Simon and Paul are young and directionless. They bicker and tease each other as best friends do. A normal evening at Paul's flat turns unforgettable as Paul reveals he knows when Simon is going to die. Darkly-comic and moving, Rosen's play investigates mortality and friendship in the modern world.
