'A street, a road like any other...' Critically acclaimed by The Royal Court 'Stop, Look, Listen' Written and Directed by Elizabeth Gaubert resonates and engage with the audience in a piece where a metaphysical sense of moral conflict between the notion of human duty to each other has a palpable presence amongst today's society. Gaubert delivers a timely representation of a closed Society broken by ignorance and intolerance. With just four actors delivering a powerful and varied performance of a lost 'neighbourhood' independently exploring the undefined characteristic and often confusing relationships with their fellow human beings. With four simple wooden chairs, the simple surroundings ensure all the powers of speech and characters are employed to convey a lost and lonely community and with a strong reliance on the actors skills, in particular their multi rolling, and their illustrative quality of their choreographed movement and use of their chairs.
