Robert Mitchell archivePianist and arranger Robert Mitchell is the hottest new ticket on the jazz scene. His inspired musical journey has led to work with the UK's finest jazz musicians, Andy Sheppard, Denys Baptiste, Omar Puente, Steve Williamson and Courtney Pine. He has adopted the sounds of his generation, using elements of hip-hop, reggae and funk. Mitchell's credentials are impeccable: his sextet Panacea released their album Voyage to high acclaim, and as part of Quite Sane he appeared with the godfather of funk himself James Brown.
