Saxophonist, composer and ex-Jazz Messengers' musical director, Jean Toussaint left America in search of a new sound - and found it right here in the UK. His award-winning album 'The Street Above The Underground', embraces the high energy of New York with the cutting edge of London, to create a new territory where improvisation meets urban grooves and contemporary jazz is underpinned by funky beats.
