The Vienna Proms is based closely on the wonderful concerts given in Vienna throughout the year. This is a full program of the ever popular melodies of Strauss and other great Austrian composers of the 'Romantic' period. The concert opens with the ever popular 'Die Fledermaus Overture' and throughout, it features a host of famous Strauss Waltzes and Polkas including 'The Blue Danube', 'Tritsch Tratsch Polka', 'Vienna Blood' and many more. The program also features the music of Franz Lehar, with a medley of his best known tunes and of course, the famous 'God and Silver Waltz'. The concert closes in the traditional manner, with the rousing 'Radetsky March'.

The National Concert Orchestra perform a full program of the ever popular melodies of Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, and other great Austrian composers of the period. The concert also features the dance routines of the 'Strauss Waltzers' who make impromptu appearances, dressed, of course, in the 'glitzy' costumes of the period.
