Two of the leading exponents of the West Country’s musical traditions, Tom and Barbara draw from a deep-rooted knowledge of the land and its people. This Farming Life (Parracombe) uses the unique resources of the South West Film and Television Archive to celebrate rural life in its many aspects. Including film footage of the region dating back to the 1920s, the show combines silent and sound film, songs and spoken word.
