Barefeet and Crazy Legs - a conversation between traditional African and Jazz dance, featuring an original score performed by the Afro Jazz Ensemble, Timeline. From the Big Apple to the Cote d'Ivoire if forges a dazzling fusion of traditional forms with a decidedly British buzz. Daring and inventive, yet grounded in history, this work presents jazz dance as a living, breathing entity, and is an original dance work which explores the soul and history of jazz dance. Part of the Leap into Dance Festival, sponsored by London Arts Board.
