Dog Kennel Hill’s triple bill To The Other Place (Fri 1 & Sat 2 May), strips away the boundaries of the theatre setting, inviting the audience to roam the space, and navigate its own way through the world each piece creates. The Odd Honesty Code involves a motley collection of objects that become instruments in a makeshift studio, as four dancers re-enact their twisted journeys to the underworld. Safe/Unsafe is a solo for Henrietta Hale that examines the nature of risk and survival in unknown waters. Man Working sees solo performer Ben Ash covered in cymbals, using structured repetitive activity and poignant images to play with the audience’s perception of their own observation. Spring Loaded
