Brazilian Dance Company founded in 1975 by Paulo Pederneiras. Grupo Corpo's virtuosic 22 dancers combine the precision of classical ballet with the sensuality and passion of Latin dance rhythms. Grupo Corpo translates as Group Body, reflecting the movement style of the dancers, who co-ordinate to fill the stage with unmatched energy and excitement. This truly exciting evening of dance sees the stunningly bold and celebrated O Corpo, set to music commissioned from Arnaldo Antunes, a star of Brazilian pop culture, and Lecuona inspired by the legendary musician dubbed 'the Cuban Gerswin' and a touch of ballroom vibrancy.
