Incorporating video projection, motion capture systems and web streaming, Passion No Patience questions time and stillness and explores the architecture of the human body. Wired up to a series of monitors, the five dancers become finely constructed machines, providing a direct link between the technology and the performance space. Motion capture sensors, record a variety of movement, including changes in facial expression and these images are stored and manipulated during the show. Digital wireless stethoscopes amplify the sound of the company's heartbeats as the performance progresses. As exertion increases, heart rates quicken and the sound, lighting, rhythm and colour of the piece intensifies.
