It's back! This will be the fourth edition of the biennial Bristol Festival of Puppetry and we can't wait. With shows, films and workshops for all ages, Bristol Festival of Puppetry is a great festival for the puppetry enthusiast or those new to this most versatile of artforms. Puppet Place - Bristol's internationally recognised hub for puppetry and animation - is delighted to be welcoming a host of international talent to Tobacco Factory Theatres again this year. Artists include the astonishing marionette company Theatre Tubingen from Germany and virtuoso object theatre makers Tam Tam from The Netherlands, plus the hottest puppetry talent from the UK. Plus, the Smoking Puppet Cabaret returns with an expanded programme of the weird, the wonderful and downright funny. For the first time Bristol Festival of Puppetry will spread out across the city, presenting an extended film and animation programme at The Watershed as well as pop up puppetry all around the Harbour.
