Just 5 days to make the play, 5 days to change the future of theatre for young people, by young people, with young people - forever. Moby Dick, one of the greatest books ever written, is the story of a man driven mad and finally to a watery grave in pursuit of revenge upon a whale. Critically acclaimed theatre makers, Slung Low, have commissioned award winning playwright James Phillips to write a new adaptation of Moby Dick, which is being developed with and for the celebrated performer and improviser Oliver Senton. Slung Low make adventures for audiences in non-theatre spaces, and will work with young artists from the New Wolsey Young Company to develop the script and staging ideas of this ambitious piece before it premieres in Leeds.
