Pentimenti the musical is the largest and most ambitious original, musical production to be launched in Ireland in many years. A cast of over 30 performers brings you this powerful piece which explores the nature of German history through the ideals and struggles of its people during the years 1935-1945. Sometimes exhilarating sometimes melancholy, this epic musical examines the rise of a national pride at the expense of a minority. Populated by an array of colourful characters, Pentimenti primarily concerns a Jewish family caught in the race against time to escape the flattening effects of fascism with whatever dignity enjoyed they can muster.
