Details

'The Pirates of Penzance (or the Slave of Duty)' is probably the most humorous of the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, with tuneful melodies and well known songs, Poor Wandering One, I Am The Very Model of a Modern Major General, The Sergeant of Police and Policeman's Chorus. Join leading soloists from the award-winning Charles Court Opera to sing the choruses of The Pirates of Penzance as part of the evening performance of the full opera, in the beautiful surroundings of Hever Castle. Led by David Eaton, CCO's esteemed Musical Director, enjoy an afternoon rehearsal at 3pm – 6pm, pick the best view for your picnic and be back at the theatre on time to take part, from the comfort of your seats, in the evening semi-staged concert performance.
