Raucously entertaining, Papa Tango's new comedy is an extravaganza of comedy, musical sequences and Xmas. Christmas has been taken over by a corporate mega-company who are adamant that Christmas needs rebranding. In their world, the nativity features Jesus Xavier Skywalker battling the evil Santa Claws, and nothing is too sacred to be sponsored. Forget traditional Christmas tidings; open your sponsored advent-calendar doors, put up the 'Orange Orange' tree, and prepare for Xmas. Needless to say, not everyone buys into the new plans. Protests are started by a group of Santas who having been rebranded as villains - find themselves out of work, the religious community are far from impressed with the changes, and things even get in the way of a classic Christmas love story. Who will win in the battle for Christmas/Xmas?T551949787‘Christmas Reloaded’ practices what it preaches by offering real life sponsors and audiences the chance to ‘buy’ elements of the show. Almost every element of the show can be bought: the logo adorning the top of the Xmas tree; the soundtrack; even the name of a newborn baby.
