A desolate circus troupe put their glad rags on to tell you the story of Monsieur Hoffman s mad loves with his trio of enchantresses, Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta. A mechanical doll who dances him into a frenzy, a singer who is compelled by her mother s portrait to sing away her last ounce of strength and an aerial siren who steals his reflection, soul and idealism.
