Lilya is a play based on the award winning film Lilya 4-Ever and explores the world of sex trafficking. Lilya, a poverty-stricken teenage girl abandoned by her mother and left to fend for herself in a crumbling town somewhere in the Soviet Union. Her only friend is 11 year old Volodja, himself an outcast, together they dream of a better life. Then Lilya meets Andrei, a smooth talking young guy who says he can take her out of the slum to Manchester, England.
