Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls is a funny, bittersweet, two-hander featuring classic country songs exploring the unlikely friendship between two women who share a burning passion for country music. Struggling through the confusions of the not-so-swinging sixties in outback Australia, Vicki and Rae are carried by their sweet dreams and the songs of Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. While being an entertaining and uplifting show, it doesn't shy away from questioning the political effects of American global influence and delving into the sometimes painful depths of the human heart.
