Set against the background of last year s General Election,
Tall Tales, Tantrums and Gordon Brown is the tale of love-struck Alfie Sparrow, about to embark on a journey of friendship, whose main worry is whether or not anyone will turn up to his party. Amidst the teenage angst and usual boy-meets-girl romance, the play looks at the way politics affects young people and the impact of the election, when many young people wake up to realise the importance and impact of the events in faraway Westminster.
