Games and the Body

T0
An afternoon exploring the growing relationship between computer games and the human body. How are computer games affecting our bodies and the way we see the physical world? Will we develop an emotional relationship to virtual characters? Can we use new brain imaging research to make machines that learn by watching us? Speakers include Ray Riley from Nike; David MacCarthy from Edge magazine; Steven Poole author of Trigger Happy; Tiziana Terranova, sociologist from University of Essex. Daniel Glaser, neuroscientist and ICA scientist-in-residence, will give an illustrated presentation, Seeing Minds in Motion, exploring the relationship between seeing and doing.
