A very funny confession of unrequited love. After dissing love at first sight, a confused northern bloke reveals his immediate love for the drag alter-ego of his best friend Billy. Candy has him smitten at first sight though he sees Billy as simply a friend. He vents his frustration on his elderly great aunt until faced with the decision of whether to act on his love. Apart from telling the story, Michael Waller effectively works the audience with perfectly timed asides. It’s surprisingly tender as he takes us into his confidence.
