A remarkable solo tour de force. Craig MacArthur holds the audience with a dazzling array of characters in Brian Quirks intriguing play. A young man is in a coma after suffering gay-bashing. We see his struggle to reconnect his memories and recover his self. MacArthur portrays the many characters with quickfire subtlety pulling us into his complicated state. He reels of an impressive alphabetical list of significant gay people. His expressive face and fluid dance draws us in before a very theatrical twist forces thinking time. A tough watch early in the day, but so worthwhile.
