Rumour: Pride

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Beresford, screenwriter of Pride, the new film starring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton and Dominic West, confirmed at a London screening of the movie that a stage musical adaptation is in development. Director Matthew Warchus is attached to the project, which is a possible for the West End. Pride is based on a true story about a group of gay activists who raise money to help a Welsh community of miners affected by the long-running miners' strike of 1984-5.
