This Is Not Culturally Significant

With a mass of 4 and 5 star reviews behind it and described as "a brutally intense, darkly comic one-man show", I was expecting more. Althoughly superbly acted, this character driven piece lacks any real coherence or drive. It is not enough to have a painted nude man running through short scenes patching together some sad stories to provide entertainment. The Rowan Atkinson-esque antics lacked the ability to pull me into hiw world and, observed from the outside, his world left me cold. Clever, but ultimately unfulfilling.
