Waiting for Godot

I'm not sure how to review this show ... it was a wonderful evening of theatre – really great to see such superb actors at the top of their game really enjoying themselves on stage …. so, as entertainment definitely 5* …

However (you saw that coming I'm sure!) as a an illuminating production of a beautiful, but complex, text probably 2* tops ...

This was somewhat self-indulgent, aimed at “stars on stage” rather than an attempt to create a seminal interpretation .. but it was great fun, well worth the trip and the money, memorable but not challenging …
