The Infinite Show - T01663316632

Cluster-bombed with yoghurt on Taskmaster, half-killed on The Island, Watson returns to what he's best at: being indoors. This show began as a work-in-progress in Edinburgh last year and now makes its official premiere. It's about empathy. Ninety-nine percent of the world's population is made up of other people ? why can't we understand them? One of the Fringe's most beloved and thinnest acts offers some suggestions. Complete sell-out 2014-2017.

The Mark Watson Tour - T01460907809

After more than 100 dates on the road in 2016 with his best-reviewed show to date, I'm Not Here, and a similarly marathon effort with the previous tour, Mark Watson is amazed to find there are STILL some areas of the country he's not visited much, and some towns that have been neglected altogether. It's hard to be everywhere at once, so he's narrowed it down to a sensible plan: for the next tour, Watson will only visit places beginning with M or W, his initials ? as they've already shown a commitment by having those names in the first place.

I'm Not Here - T1457057215

A seemingly minor problem at an airport forms the starting point of the show, which spirals into an examination of identity in the digital age and a search for meaning in our lives. Luckily with an enormous number of jokes, as well as Watson's customary flailing, chaotic audience interactions and all sorts of other fun.

Mark Watson's 25-Hour Interactive Comedy Fundraising Extravaganza for Red Nose Day - T978766722

Comedian Mark Watson attempts, for the first time, to perform for 25 hours straight, while similarly unwise people in the venue and all over the country take on their own 25-hour challenges in a gigantic festival of human endeavour, sleep deprivation, fundraising and idiocy - all for Red Nose Day 2013. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Red Nose Day, so in celebration Mark has decided to dedicate one hour to each of Red Nose Day's 25 years. This will be one of the oddest, and certainly one of the longest, events ever staged for Comic Relief, involving hundreds of hardy volunteers over a show so vast that it spans two months (admittedly, this is partly because of the choice of date). There will be games, songs, stunts, endurance challenges, long periods of awkward silence. There'll be comic and celebrity guest appearances, once-in-a-lifetime prize auctions, spontaneous mayhem, planned mayhem. Above all, there will be one slightly delirious man talking for a very, very long time, trying to continue being funny while also maintaining basic human functions like eating and going to the toilet. Mark Watson's endurance shows became the stuff of comedy legend between 2004 and 2009, but he thought he was done with it forever. Instead, for the first time, he will attempt to combine this bizarre and possibly dangerous task with a banquet of fundraising feats taking place all over the UK and the wider world. The show will go on. And on.

Live 2012 - T48240731

Mark was a victim of identity theft. Someone successfully posed as him and took all his money. It made him think about the power of the Internet, the nature of identity, the way to stop crime forever and live in a better world, and some other smaller matters. He has now finished thinking about these things and is ready to present his findings, laced with a barrage of new jokes, stories, observations and anecdotes, in his new show. May contain optional audience interaction, games, improvisation and unaggressive banter. The tour revisits some of Mark's favourite venues, some brand new territory, and a couple of places which he's visiting as a dare.

'Why aren't you coming to Berwick?' 'Why do you never visit Shropshire?' 'Is there a specific reason for your endless neglect of Chorley?' Most people aren't troubled by questions of this sort in their everyday lives, but Mark Watson is. Every time he announces a set of tour dates, there are disappointed tweets from all corners of the UK not covered by his travels. Why are you going to Southampton instead of Inverness, people demand. What's the matter with Ipswich? Do you hate the Isle of Man? And this is in spite of Mark's reputation as one of the hardest-working and most-constantly-travelling comics around. It almost seems as if the only way to ensure happy gig-goers is if he allow fans to dictate his entire schedule. Last year, via his daily blog, Mark invited fans to suggest destinations for his 2011 shows. Over the past few months he's been sifting these suggestions, weeding out ones like Gaza posted by people seeking to trap and kill him, and calculating the most popular choices from what remained. From now until Christmas he will traverse the country to perform at over 50 specially requested towns. He'll dole out a mixture of old favourites and new material, experimental stuff and greatest hits to those who have previously been deprived of his trademark frantic wit, rambling, emotional neediness etc.

In 2008 Mark Watson completed a 100-date tour of the UK, Australia and New Zealand, recorded the second series of his cult Radio 4 show, published his third book and continued his regular TV appearances. Can I Briefly Talk to You about the Point of Life - T01093683978

The show is based, loosely, on his experiences at his last birthday. A religious recruiter in the street asked him the question of the title and Watson started pondering it. In his over-analytical mind, everything in that otherwise unexceptional day, from a train ride to buying a peach in a supermarket, took on a great significance. But then, as he confesses in another admission, he's always been one for taking things too seriously, writing a suicide note after losing a game of Connect 4 as a child.
