Hot as an Aussie barbeque with twice the meat, this is a raunchy, camp, ridiculous mix of remarkable skills and low comedy. There are few surprises in the circus style acts, but each is performed with verve and tongue between both cheeks.
Shivanna delivers just the right amount of arch hosting as MC, whipping the crowd into a genteel frenzy as he/she offers that the louder we get, the more they will take off – even spinning in some sharp political commentary. The performances deliver enough variety to keep us hooked throughout the show – if there’s one element that doesn’t grab you, another will be along in short-time as these fit young men bend, hang, twirl and preen for your voyeuristic delight .
If Auntie has the slightest qualm about men dressing flamboyantly and undressing provocatively, tell her to mind the children while you have a ball with these great entertainers. Don’t forget to buy a raffle ticket. Not a meat raffle this year… but then again, it is a meat raffle this year! If you win, please don’t be shy in collecting your prize.
